ABOUT THE OWNER
Mac Hicks, a native Tucsonan, has been in the concrete industry since 1991. He began his career in concrete at the age of 14 working for the family concrete business. He was and still is fascinated with all of the science and engineering that goes into concrete. Some people have been known to say that “Mac has concrete running through his veins!”
Mac’s role with Zona are Project Manager and Field Superintendent. His responsibilities are to maintain a relationship with every client from design all the way to placement of the concrete. Mac will walk each client carefully through the whole process communicating each detail and following through until the project is 100% complete. However, the exceptional role of husband and father of three daughters is what makes Mac most proud.
